Title Default Title
Qty:

The successor to the 1968 Dodge Charger, the Daytona was introduced as a high performance, limited edition, created with the express purpose of racing, notably NASCAR! Produced in Detroit, Michigan, the two-door coupé epitomised the muscle car image and came with modifications such as the 23 inches tall stabiliser wing at the back, a special sheet metal nose cone that replaced the traditional front grille amongst other refinements. Its NASCAR circuit success included two wins in 1969 and a further four in 1970.

This 1:87 scale Daytona makes its miniature debut in black with red masking to the rear with the black Daytona name printed above the back wheel. Note the specially designed tail stabiliser also painted red, the black panel behind the wide red rear light cluster and the red rim round the otherwise black tyres. Our model is registered Arkansas BEJ 458 in Dec 69.
